Unlock Your Domain with Registrar Lock
Posted by on 19 August 2013 12:18 AM

What is a Registrar Lock?

If you have a .com, .net, .org, .name or similar domain name the Registrar Lock is a block placed at the registrar level to prevent people from transferring the domain name unintentionally. You must log in and remove the lock prior to initiating any domain registration transfers.

Removing a Registrar Lock

If you registered your domain name at Cirtex Hosting you can:

  1. Log in to the Customer Area: https://billing.cirtex.com/clientarea.php

  2. In the Your Services section click My Domains

  3. To the right of your domain name click Manage Domain

  4. Unlock your domain in the Register Lock tab, the 4th tab
